About Us

The Glenville Tarblooder Band is the primary musical entity within the legendary Glenville High School, located in Cleveland, OH (U.S.A.).

Founded in 1892, Glenville High School has been a cornerstone of the Glenville community; a vibrant community that goes beyond music. It focuses on nurturing young people to adulthood and, through its music program, both develops budding musicians and fosters their personal growth.

Better known as the ‘Tarblooder Band,’ our program provides high-quality instruction and diverse performance opportunities, igniting a lifelong passion for music in the participating students, and serves as a bridge between the school and the wider community.
