Roaring Together: The FDR Panthers and the Tarblooder Band are on the Prowl
CLEVELAND, OHIO – February 19, 2025 – The Glenville High School Band Feeder Program is growing fast, with the addition of its newest feeder partner, Franklin D. Roosevelt Academy. It is said that convenience is a key part of what this partnership will offer and what will ensure its success, as it is also located within walking distance from Glenville H.S.
“I’m all in!” exclaimed Sherie S. Turner, Principal of Franklin D. Roosevelt Academy. “The next big thing could be right here in our community.”
“This partnership is a bit dear to me,” expressed Micah L. Momient, Band Director for the Glenville Tarblooder Band. “As a former Panther, it is my pleasure and duty to come home to show the best in music education.”
This initiative looks to facilitate resource sharing, such as instruments and teaching expertise, and provide both inspiration and motivation for participating students. And Mr. Momient believes that this community and its youth will benefit greatly from seeing this type of collaborative consistency, even at the most minute levels.
You can find out more information about this partnership by contacting the writer at TarblooderBand.com.
